He's the whipping boy,
He takes it like a man.
Blood running down his back,
In the shape of angel's wings.
As I hear his bones crack.

He's the warrior poet,
He walks on in the rain,
Boots soaked through with rain,
Raindrops on the end of his eyelashes.
As the wind still blows.

He's the whisperer in darkness,
He says things that aren't said.
If those words are still small,
They can still be strong,
As the world starts to change.
If we're willing to make the sacrifices, now is the time that we can change the world.

I would love it, if you wouldn't repeat the word "rain" so often in the second.... Otherwise, it's great and true!

Beautiful...he sounds so...strong. I guess that was the point though obviously ^^; , I like how you described him, going through all the obstacles in his way, keeping his head held high. Its inspiring.
